An Open Letter to Danny Glidewell: A Moment to Define a Legacy

Dear Danny,

First and foremost, let me express my deepest gratitude for your dedicated service as a commissioner.

When history is penned, it will undoubtedly immortalize you as one of the best to have served on the Board of County Commissioners.

More than just a good man, you are a great man, someone who cherishes history, holds true conservative values, and admires great leaders.

Our shared appreciation for leaders like Ronald Reagan, whom we both admire, speaks to your wisdom and discernment.

In our discussions, I recall one of Reagan's profound quotes that resonated with us both: "There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don't care who gets the credit."

As Walton County stands at a defining moment, these words hold particular relevance.

The recent appointment of Stan Sunday as the new county administrator marks a crucial juncture in Walton County's history.

With his wealth of experience and intelligence, Sunday has the potential to lead us to unprecedented prosperity, given the right support from leaders like yourself.

This is your defining moment, Danny. Great leaders have the power to define the moment rather than let it define them.

As history unfolds, your legacy hinges on the choices made during these pivotal times. I understand there might be some history between you and Stan Sunday, perhaps some personal differences.

However, as a great man, I believe you can rise above any past animosity for the greater good of Walton County.

Government must transcend individual differences, and I trust that you, being a dedicated public servant, recognize this truth. Embracing the new leadership is an opportunity to unite the board and take the county to unparalleled heights.

The recipe for success is in place, and your wisdom is a crucial ingredient to ensure Walton County thrives.

In crafting a quote for you, inspired by Reagan's wisdom: "There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you, as the senior commissioner, bring your wisdom to unite the board and guide Walton County to new heights."

Danny, you have been a mentor and inspiration to many, including myself. Your love for Walton County and your dedication to public service are evident.

It is my sincere belief that despite any past grievances, your commitment to the county will prevail, and you will lead us towards a brighter future.

Before I conclude, I want to emphasize that I've always been impressed by your genuine love for Walton County.

It's evident that being a commissioner is not just a role for you; it's a heartfelt commitment.

I am confident that your love for the county will guide you to make the right decisions for its future.

God bless you, Danny Glidewell, and I wish you the best of luck as you navigate this defining moment and continue to serve the county we both hold dear.

Calling Glidewell one of the best is a bad joke. Guy is a disgrace and his willful breaking of the law has cost Walton County huge sums of money in lawsuits and settlements.

Hey why not just sign this Chas Galloway? How many pseudonyms do you have? Are you afraid to be seen in the light of day? Why all of this pretending? Why hide behind fake names? Is it so you can pretend there is more than one person writing all of these letters? OK, maybe you and Robert Nelson share some of the writing duties? Still, you are pretending to be someone else while lecturing the rest of us about truth? 😆
